Aaaaand our Journey goes ooon!!! I have to admit that the feeling is rather strange when you leave Berlin in the evening and wake up in Amsterdam. It’s a real turnover from skyscrapers, modern buildings, and squares to the city of packed, narrow houses and canals. I experienced it as a city where there is no need to put any effort to relax, Amsterdam does it for you. The thing that dragged my attention were elegantly dressed people riding bicycles. I noticed that people like to stop and talk adding to a cheerful atmosphere. I walked along the famous “Red lights district” and I confess that the experience is pretty interesting.
John Green once said: “Some tourists think Amsterdam is a city of sin, but in truth it is a city of freedom. And in freedom, most people find sin.” From one point of view, the city really invites you to do different, crazy things, while there is a rich culture waiting on the other side, with all the museums and wonderful art pieces. That’s why it completely took my heart.
